Assembly Time: Friday 26th March - E-Safety

This week we turn our attention to staying safe online, strange things have been happening all week across the school… I wonder if the children can help solve them?
After watching the assembly, if you want more information how you can keep you and your family safe online take a look at the following:
– ThinkUKnow: https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ A resource made in collaboration with the police with information, videos and games for all ages.
– ParentZone: https://parentzone.org.uk/home A resource with advice for parents and educators to keep families safe online.
– Net-Aware: https://www.net-aware.org.uk/ Unsure whether your child should be accessing an app or game, then this website made in collaboration with NSPCC has the details.
– CEOP: https://www.ceop.police.uk/Safety-Centre/ The police website with information about staying safe online and how to report concerns.

Mr Veal is running a competition for all of the children across the school, get the entries in before Friday 16th April. The Google game that is mentioned, can be found here: https://beinternetlegends.withgoogle.com/en_uk

From all of us at Brickhill Primary School, have a wonderful Easter Break. Put your feet up, relax and have as much fun as possible! We’ll see you on Tuesday 13th April.
